The Pilcrow Foundation is classified as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law under section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. EIN: 38-3921215

The Pilcrow Foundation does not employ a professional fund-raiser nor does it share or sell the names of its contributors. The Pilcrow Foundation does not send repeated appeals for money to its donors nor does it spend their money on “gifts,” such as address labels, calendars, greeting cards, etc. The Pilcrow Foundation uses the money it receives to donate new, quality, hardcover children’s books to rural public libraries across the United States in order to promote the joy of reading.
